Leadership Coaching

Leadership is easier to see from the outside.

Leadership can be rewarding, but it can also be lonely. The higher you go, the more complex the relationships become and the less often you get an honest perspective on how you're doing.

I work with senior leaders - at the individual and team level - who want space to step back, think things through and look at their leadership from a different perspective.

That might be a new role, a challenging relationship, a difficult conversation, a change in direction or simply a sense that something isn't working as well as it could.

What we might explore

  • How you are showing up and how you are experienced by others

  • Communication and relationships

  • Influence and stakeholder relationships

  • Difficult conversations

  • Confidence and executive presence

  • Leading through change

  • Stepping into greater responsibility

  • Working effectively across different personalities, cultures and perspectives

How I work

  1. Face-to-Face and Online Sessions
Flexible coaching designed to fit around your working day, whether in person or online.

  2. Personalised 360-Degree Feedback
Gain insight into how you are experienced by others through the Primary Colours 360 feedback process, bringing together perspectives from colleagues, peers, supervisors and other stakeholders.

  3. Personality Profiling
Using Hogan or Lumina Spark assessments, explore your values, preferences and behavioural patterns — including how you tend to operate at your best and how this can change under pressure.

  4. Regular Coaching
Monthly coaching sessions provide space to reflect, explore challenges and work towards the goals that matter to you, with practical support between sessions.

Hospitality Executive Coaching

Leadership experience shaped by the reality of hospitality.

Hospitality is a people business. It's also fast-moving, commercially demanding and often complex — with owners, operators, corporate teams, colleagues and guests all bringing different expectations.

I've spent 10 years working within one of the world's largest hotel groups, partnering with Executive Committee members, hotel owners and General Managers across Europe and South East Asia.

That experience gave me a close-up understanding of the leadership challenges that come with the industry — from navigating competing priorities and stakeholder expectations to communicating across cultures and bringing people with you.

Who may benefit from this

Hotel General Managers, senior hospitality leaders, corporate teams and emerging leaders preparing for greater responsibility.

What we might work on

Leadership transitions, communication, executive presence, stakeholder relationships, difficult conversations, influencing, team effectiveness and preparing for important presentations or meetings.

I bring both sector experience and a coaching perspective — so the work is grounded in the reality of hospitality rather than a generic leadership model.

Communication & Presenting Skills Coaching

When your message really needs to land.

You know your subject. You've prepared the content. But important presentations aren't just about what you know.

They're about how you communicate it, how you connect with the people in the room and what they take away afterwards.

I work with senior leaders preparing for presentations, pitches, senior meetings and other high-stakes moments where getting the message right matters.

We might work on

  • Finding the story within the content

  • Structuring a clear and compelling message

  • Making complex information easier to understand

  • Presenting with greater confidence and presence

  • Connecting with different audiences

  • Handling questions and challenge

  • Managing nerves and pressure

  • Making your own style work for you

My background in senior communications means I bring a different perspective to presentation coaching. We look not only at what you're saying, but at how it's likely to land.

The aim isn't to turn you into someone else. It's to help you communicate at your best.

Insight & Assessment Tools

Incorporating a diagnostic tool into the coaching process can offer leaders a richer, more evidence-based view of their strengths, risk areas, and motivational drivers. Research suggests that multi-source feedback and personality assessments can improve self-awareness and accelerate development by surfacing patterns that may not be visible through reflection alone. I use the Primary Colours® 360 Feedback Report, Lumina Spark and Hogan Assessments - each grounded in robust psychological theory and validated research to offer data that complements your own insight and experience.

Hogan Assessments

Hogan is a trusted name in the field of personality/leadership assessment, used by leading companies worldwide.

The assessments can help leaders and teams to understand what may be driving them and which behaviours may be helping them and hindering them as they look to progress in their career.

Primary Colours® 360

Edgecumbe’s Primary Colours® 360 Feedback Report is a research-based tool designed to provide leaders with structured, multi-rater feedback from colleagues, direct reports, and senior stakeholders. Evidence shows that feedback from multiple sources increases self-awareness and can highlight gaps between intent and impact—insights that are often missed through self-reflection alone. When integrated into a coaching programme, this data can inform more targeted, practical development plans. At an organisational level, aggregated findings can also support broader leadership development and succession planning strategies.

Lumina Spark

Lumina Spark gives teams a shared language for understanding different personalities, preferences and ways of working. It helps people see where their strengths lie, where they may have blind spots, and how they can adapt their communication to work more effectively with others.

Used as part of a facilitated team session, it can open up conversations that teams don't always have naturally — about communication, differences, pressure, decision-making and how people work together.

The result? Greater self-awareness, stronger connections and a more effective way of working together.
