Services
Working with a coach provides:
a confidential space for you to reflect on professional challenges and opportunities as they emerge
an opportunity to explore your strengths, development areas and blind spots as a leader
a sounding board; someone with whom you can develop and test out new ideas and strategies, clarify your thoughts, and uncover new perspectives
accountability; someone to help ensure you remain on track to achieve what’s most important to you
Programmes typically start with six sessions, which allows time to establish what change the client wants to see - and how to achieve it. The services below touch on the themes and typical areas covered; however all coaching is tailored to individual needs.
-
Designed for newly promoted leaders or those navigating significant change in their role or organisation.
We begin with a 90-minute debrief of your Hogan Personality Assessment(s), providing deep insight into how you're likely to be perceived—on both good days (your strengths) and under pressure (your potential derailers). You'll also gain clarity on your core values and work preferences—helping you understand the environments and cultures in which you’ll thrive.
Alternatively, or in addition, you can choose a 360-degree feedback process using the Primary Colours® model. This offers structured, practical feedback from your manager, peers, and team, across the strategic, operational, and interpersonal domains of leadership. It also explores how you perform under pressure.
With insight from these tools, the remaining five coaching sessions are focused on your specific goals and challenges. We’ll work together to strengthen your leadership style, build resilience, and help you focus your energy where it matters most—supported by data, practical tools, and tailored guidance.

Leadership assessment & tools
I always recommend using at least one diagnostic tool as part of the coaching process. The data and insights generated through these tools will give you different perspectives on your performance and behaviour. This can be powerful to consider alongside your own experience and interpretation of events. I work with the Primary Colours® 360 Feedback Report and Hogan Assessments, which I am certified to interpret.
Hogan Assessments
Hogan is a trusted name in the field of personality/leadership assessment, used by leading companies worldwide. The assessments can help companies and individuals across a range of areas, including:
Improved self-awareness: Hogan provides individuals with a clear understanding of their strengths, weaknesses, and potential derailers.
Better decision-making: Companies benefit from data-driven insights to make better hiring, development, and promotion decisions.
Increased organisational effectiveness: By aligning individual traits with organisational needs and roles.
Primary Colours® 360 Feedback Report
I work with Edgecumbe’s proprietary Primary Colours 360 Feedback Report, which provides leaders with multi-dimensional insights from various stakeholders, including their team, peers, and supervisors. This feedback helps leaders understand how they are perceived within the organisation, and when used as part of a coaching programme, can help individuals to create more targeted and effective developmental plans. At the organisational level, these reports will help to:
Demonstrate the impact of existing leaders on individuals/teams/the organisation
Identify potential future leaders
Develop/enhance leadership programmes and measure their impact
Offer insight on your employees’ perspective on leadership
Demonstrate how your leaders show up in comparison to benchmark groups
Highlight what is required to develop individual leaders and leadership teams
Track an individual’s development over time
The questionnaire/report is based on The Primary Colours® Model of Leadership, developed over 25 years of research led by Professor David Pendleton.
